Course Capture

I've been following a product called Tegrity for about 5 years - it is a lecture capture software - pretty pricey - but I have a year-long trial period to play with it, see if we can do the same thing with other tools for less, and see if faculty have a use for it...Check out a sample below... Instead of PowerPoint, you can use a document camera, or graphics pad to record your working out a problem, or anything on your computer. It records and does all the post-production automatically and can be fully integrated with ANGEL and our authentication systems.

So far, this does the same thing as Adobe Connect - but what about document camera - can that be set-up with Connect in the camera pod?

The University is doing a pilot and may make it more widely available soon. We have asked to be part of the first campuses to get access to a campus pilot
